George said I should have a blog so I've resurrected this one. Shame on whoever reads this!.... except for George.... but including me.
Well.... not much has happened since my last blog even though it was a few years ago. I got sacked from that job for "doing not much work" and I haven't had a job since then, that was December 2008. I've sort of been looking for a job but I've mostly been spending time with my thoughts (oh yeah?! which hand do you do that with?!).
Japlan with Dan never happened and he's at Uni in London now. He won't be finished there for at least another two years so now Japlan with him until then. My friend from Brighton invited me on his Japan trip but he ended up not being able to afford it. Then he went and got a girlfriend who's from Hong Kong so if he goes anywhere far away it's going to be there. Also Two hot women invited me on their Japan trip but then they decided they weren't going. Mark's Japlan has been on hold for almost three years! I'm not going on my own.
It's been a year of small ups and small downs. For example, today I couldn't find a little red plectrum. A few years ago I bought a pack of ten and over time they've all gradually vanished, so now I find myself strumming my guitar with the side of my thumb like I used to do when I was 16. Bring on the blisters!
Currently in life I'm playing Fallout 3, GTA San Andreas, FIFA 09, listening to Van Morrison (he's amazing!), realising how socially awkward I've become and trying to make a DVD of post-apocalyptic world films but failing because making a DVD is much harder than I'd anticipated. 800mb x 3 seems to equal 10gb+ in the mind of most DVD authoring programs. Normally I would accept defeat because it's all illegal and I should be buying these films but most of them were only released on VHS in North America and I'm not spending £20+ for a video tape of a crap film that'll take over a month to arrive.
I'm now going to watch some MST3K because I'm cool.
